Pastor Joe Glymph
Pastor pastorjoe@poplargo.org
Pastor Joe came to Prince of Peace in
July, 1999 from Charleston, SC, where he
served St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church
for 5 years. Prior to that time he was
a student at Lutheran Theological Southern
Seminary in Columbia, SC from 1990 to 1994.
Being a part of a wave of 2nd career clergy,
Pastor Joe worked as an attorney for a
construction/engineering firm before entering
seminary. “I considered parish ministry
as a possibility at different times when
I was younger, but I always thought `if
that’s what God wants me to do, then
God will work that out.’ Well, God
did.” With their daughter now away
at college, Pr. Joe and his wife, Dianne,
are the only caretakers of an energetic
yellow lab and a senior “emergency
back-up dog”—a corgi mix. |

Donald Rolander
Parish Musician don@poplargo.org
Donald Rolander is the full-time Parish Musician. Don is also a gifted organist and choral director! His gifts are used to encourage more than 100 volunteers to enhance their musical service to the One we worship! The music ministry supports worship as our highest obligation and greatest privilege. We attempt to incorporate a variety of musical styles from renaissance to Rutter- including classical, folk, jazz. Opportunities abound for all ages to serve through the joy of music.

Rick and Debbie Christie
Parish Musicians
As you enter any building
at Prince of Peace, you will hear moderate
to loud shouts from the younger children. “Mr.
Rick, Mr. Rick or Miss Debbie, Miss Debbie.” Those
welcoming words speak volumes about our Coordinators

of music; their gifts are the relationships
they establish with the young people! They
are loved by all the children. The goal
of nurturing our children in a
life of faith through music
is done in lively classes filled with doing
