Pastor Joe Glymph
Pastor pastorjoe@poplargo.org
Pastor Joe came to Prince of Peace in July, 1999 from Charleston, SC, where he served St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church for 5 years. Prior to that time he was a student at Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia, SC from 1990 to 1994. Being a part of the wave of 2nd career clergy, Pastor Joe worked as an attorney for a construction/engineering firm before entering seminary. “I considered parish ministry as a possibility at different times when I was younger, but I always thought `if that’s what God wants me to do, then God will work that out.’ Well, God did.” He, his wife and daughter live 10 minutes from the church with their peculiar chocolate Labrador retriever. |

Pastor Cynthia Keyser
Pastor pastorcindy@poplargo.org
Pastor Cindy began her ministry at Prince of Peace in December of 2003 after serving for four years as Team Pastor at Windsor Heights Lutheran Church in Des Moines, IA. The daughter and granddaughter of Lutheran pastors, she grew up in St. Petersburg, FL and is thrilled to be back home again. Cindy received her BA in Religion from Florida State University in 1994 and graduated from Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN in 1999. Pastor Keyser feels strongly that an essential part of her call to ministry is to affirm the spiritual gifts of those in her care, to equip and provide opportunities for those gifts to be used, and to call Christians to a deeper commitment to God and others. She and her husband, Eric Rothgery, are the proud parents of two boys, Jonah & Micah. |

Donald Rolander
Parish Musician don@poplargo.org
Donald Rolander is the full-time Parish Musician. Don is also a gifted organist and choral director! His gifts are used to encourage more than 100 volunteers to enhance their musical service to the One we worship! The music ministry supports worship as our highest obligation and greatest privilege. We attempt to incorporate a variety of musical styles from renaissance to Rutter- including classical, folk, jazz. Opportunities abound for all ages to serve through the joy of music.
Don is currently serving a second term as Dean of the Clearwater Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. He is also an active charter member of the Association of Lutheran Musicians.
Whether he is warming up the choirs, looking
for one of his 3 batons to direct the bell
choir or signaling with his characteristic
smile, Don is a vibrant part of the worship
and music ministry at Prince of Peace. |

Rick and Debbie Christie
Parish Musicians
As you enter any building
at Prince of Peace, you will hear moderate
to loud shouts from the younger children. “Mr.
Rick, Mr. Rick or Miss Debbie, Miss Debbie.” Those
welcoming words speak volumes about our Coordinators
of Children’s
Music Ministries. This family has 30 years
of music; their gifts are the relationships
they establish with the young people! They
are loved by all the children. The goal
of nurturing our children in a
life of faith through music
is done in lively classes filled with doing
and active, interactive and intergenerational
experiences. Come & See! |

Faye Belskey
Coordinator of Discipleship Ministries faye@poplargo.org
Probably one of the first members you
will meet as you visit Prince of Peace
is Faye Belskey! Faye’s position
at Prince of Peace is as broad at her title
indicates. Some of her gifts for ministry
include discerning the gifts of others
and helping them to use those talents within
the life of this congregation. Faye works
with the many volunteers who keep the ministry
of Prince of Peace vital and growing – providing
them with resources and support. She also
coordinates our Wednesday night dinners,
as well as other receptions and events.
In addition, Faye has been charged with
oversight of our growing small group ministry.
She and her husband of 40+ years, volunteer
