Young Adult Bible Study
High School and post-high school
young adults meet to talk about the week,
look at scripture and pray together.
This very informal group meets in the
youth room of Morack Hall at 6:15 or
as soon as you can get there. Come, take
a break from your busy-ness.
“ A Family Affair”
Children are a gift from God. It is our responsibility to care for them and train them so they may come to know and serve our Lord and to care for God’s creation and our neighbor.
Parenting is more challenging than ever before with the many influences and “mixed messages” children receive from various people and the media. We encourage parents to continually educate themselves on effective discipline techniques, on developing a good understanding of the social issues that our children deal with daily and cultivating an atmosphere of spiritual growth and love of God. The time and energy given to these tasks will result in closer, more trusting relationships with your children as you guide them in developing better self-discipline and respect for self and others.
Our parenting classes will continue this year again utilizing church members and presenters from community agencies to facilitate sessions on effective parenting skills and understanding current social issues. These classes also provide good fellowship and a strong support system for our parents.
