Middle School/Confirmation

Sunday School
Sundays at 10 AM - Our curriculum is about exploration and encourages youth to wrestle with historic Christian faith and theology.  Fun and full of discussions, the lesson for each week is an extension of our confirmation ministry.  We invite you to join us this and every Sunday.
 
Youth Group [grades 6, 7, 8]
This group meets twice a month and together they find ways to be involved in mission, beginning with areas close to home and expanding into the larger world.  Every summer our youth travel to North Carolina for a week of camp surrounded by mountains and trees.

Confirmation Classes 
Wednesdays 6:15 PM
Middle School youth are invited to this three year course of instruction.  Students spend the first two years studying the Bible and the third year learning about Martin Luther’s Small Catechism.

Youth Ringers (Hand Bells)
Middle and high school youth meet at 5:15 PM on Wednesdays at the bell tables in the sanctuary.  They ring for worship regularly and for festivals as announced.  Director: Don Rolander 585-9969/don@poplargo.org. 

Youth Singers
Middle and high school youth gather at 7:15 PM on Wednesdays in the Chapel for rehearsal.  Youth sing twice a month during worship.
